Studio portrait of Clark and Estelle (Bogue) Kinney on their Golden Wedding Anniversary (February 22, 1955). Mr. Kinney was the Gypsum depot agent. He retired in 1946. The Kinneys lived in Gypsum, Colorado, for 37 years but then moved on to Basalt, Pando and Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

A back view of "Kate's place," the Strohm residence in Gypsum [2nd and Eagle Streets]. George Strohm bought the former Poor Farm in 1939 for $5,000. The Poor Farm provided assistance to the elderly, disabled and homeless before Social Security, Medicare, etc., and was situated on land that now is the location for the Town Park and Bertroch subdivision.

The class of 1912, Eagle County High School. On far left, Mr. Heath (Principal). On far right, Mr. Richards. On Richards' right is Marie Strohm, who later married Wayne Kutz. Edna Baldauf Norgaard may be the woman in the middle.
Edna Mae Baldauf married Carl Norgaard. Carl was in the first graduating class of Eagle County High School in 1910. Edna died Sept. 14, 1988; Carl died in 1962. Their son, Melvin Norgaard, died July 2, 2007.
